I brought my Tesla Model S to EV Part Solutions in Phoenix for rear brakes/rotors, 12-volt battery replacement, and coolant service. The work was completed, and while a fair issue came up afterward regarding a noise that developed, the owner stepped in right away, fully rectified the situation, refunded the money, and is taking care of everything on our end. He went above and beyond to make sure the customer was taken care of. That level of ownership and follow-through is rare. I would highly recommend this shop not only for EV work, but also from a business-owner standpoint—they truly care about getting it right for the customer.

I brought my car here when my 2018 Model X was acting up… I must say, I had a fantastic experience! Let me preface by saying, I don’t know anything about cars. These guys were so helpful. Walked me through everything, and after having compared quotes, not only were they the most competitive, they were the most thorough and informative. They are now my go to technicians for anything I’d need in the future. I’d strongly recommend them to anyone with an electric vehicle. You won’t be disappointed!

I brought my Tesla Model X here because the AC wasn’t cooling properly. Before bringing it in, the radiator fan was still operating and the AC would actually cool better while driving. After their diagnosis, I was quoted over $5,000 for the AC system and decided not to proceed with the repair. Their own inspection report described the radiator fan as “damaged not reaching optimal fan speed,” meaning it was still operating during their diagnosis. Immediately after picking up the car, the fan no longer appeared to turn on at all and I started getting an “Air Conditioning Reduced” warning that I wasn’t getting before. I ran Tesla’s built-in Service Mode Thermal System Test myself and it failed, specifically showing FANS: FAILURE, along with several other thermal system failures. I contacted the shop and gave them an opportunity to check whether something was disconnected or affected during their diagnostic work. I wasn’t asking them to repair my existing AC problems for free. I simply wanted them to investigate why the fan went from operating before the visit to apparently not operating at all afterward. [If they don’t respond: Unfortunately, I received no response.] I understand this is an older, high-mileage vehicle with existing AC problems, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a vehicle to come back in the same functional condition it was in before diagnostic work was performed. I’m disappointed with how this was handled.

I want to share my extremely bad experience with EV Parts Solutions Shop and warn people to not bring their Tesla there – you will waste your time and money! ⭐️ 1/5 — Extremely disappointing experience. I would not trust this shop with my Tesla again. I brought my Tesla Model 3 to this shop because the A/C was blowing warm air. There were errors for low pressure refrigerant. I asked them to replace the refrigerant. This way I would know for sure how much they recovered and recharged and if system was low. I should have left after their freon recharge estimate went from $250 estimate when I called to $450 price after they recovered freon, basically at the point when I couldn’t drive away anymore – they doubled the price. Unfortunately, they did not know correct amount of freon needed and the system was overcharged, which caused additional errors and problems. I then paid $100 for a “diagnostic.” Instead of actually troubleshooting the A/C system, I was given information from the car’s built-in service menu. Then they happily printed 7 (seven) pages of repair estimate which included replacing almost everything AC related: fan, radiator, AC compressor, high and low pressure switches. All for a “low” additional $2200. At this point I was approaching $1000 spent at the EV Parts Solutions and three weeks without AC… I took my Tesla to another shop, they found that the actual problem was stuck AC expansion valve - $29 part. So I paid $100 for a diagnostic that did not find the problem and ultimately sent me in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, there was another major issue. After AC recharge, parts were not reinstalled on my car. I had already driven home when I was informed about it, and I had to drive back to the shop. For me, this comes down to basic expectations: accurate diagnostics, competent work, and a vehicle that is properly put back together when the job is finished. I did not receive those things here. Instead, I ended up with: • Incorrect refrigerant service and additional errors • A $100 diagnostic that failed to identify the actual problem • An incorrect diagnosis • Additional time and money spent at another shop • My frunk bin got lost in the shop for couple days I understand that diagnosing a complicated issue can sometimes take time. What I find unacceptable is paying for a diagnostic that did not actually diagnose the problem, receiving incorrect information, and then discovering that my vehicle was not reassembled. I will not be returning, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop to other Tesla owners.
